Virginia Disharoon Jackson age 82 of Canton, GA died Saturday May 12, 2012 . Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday May 14, 2012, from the Riverdale Baptist Church with Rev. Mr. James M. Williams, Jr. passed away at age 74 in Marietta on May 7, 2012. Rev. Horace Richards will officiate the memorial service which will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday May 10, 2012 at the chapel of the Darby Funeral Home in Canton, GA. Family will receive friends on Thursday 4PM until 6PM. Interment services will be held at the Forest Lawn cemetery in Asheville, NC on Saturday, May 12.

A devoted husband and brother, Mr. Williams is survived by his loving wife, Grace Jeanette Williams of Marietta,GA; Children: Doug (Sharon) Williams of Canton, GA; Jaimme Williams of Asheville, NC; Cymantha (Sam) Waites of Asheville, NC; James M. (Pam) Williams, III, of Atlanta, GA; Kimberly Williams of Asheville, NC; Allison (Michael) Correll of Canton, GA; Shannon (David) Parsons of Acworth, GA, and Truett Williams of Marietta, GA, Sister: Judith (Jim) Clark, Asheville, NC.  He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents James Med Williams, Sr. and Margaret Cagle Williams; son Shane Williams as well as his nephew George Thompson.

Frances Rolan age 88 of Canton, GA passed away Sunday April 22, 2012 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 24th at 11:00 am from the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Brandon and Dr. George Anderson officiating.
