Cheryl was one of my closest and most precious friends at ACC. She was instrumental in my Christian growth and I will always be grateful for her loving guidence into scriptural truth and understanding. I am so sorry that it was not physically possible for us to “grow old” together due to separate locations and family responsibilities, but I cherish my memories of her and our times together as classmates, roommates, “song”mates, and best friends. She will be missed by all who loved her, but all who knew and loved her also know that she is being well rewarded now for her wonderful life on this earth. What a great witness for the Lord! What a great testimony for eternity!

My love and prayers go out to all of Cheryl’s family. I for one will miss her tremendously. Every scripture I have read in the last few days has made me think of Cheryl, but especially Psalm 146:2. “I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.” That was Cheryl, always praising, always loving, always encouraging. I look forward to the day I see her beautiful smile and hear her lovely voice singing praises to our Lord. May God give all of you His peace and strength to get throught the next few days.

To the White family, I want to send my deepest regrets. You can take comfort in the fact that soon God will do away with all sickness and death. We definitely look forward to the promises. Until then, may the God of comfort, along with the many memories, strenghten you in the days ahead.-Revelation 21:4, Isaiah 25:8, Psalms 37:11.

I was privileged to have known Cheryl from Lake Aurora Christian Assembly in Florida, and as members of the Atlanta Christian College Concert Choir and Christian Minstrels. Her love for Christ and others was consistently demonstrated in all she did. With her death, this world has become a much sadder place. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

I wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. God is “near to those broken at heart.” – Psalm 34:18. He is the “Father of tender mercies, and the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our tribulation.” -2Crinthians 1:3,4. He has promised to permanently remove the pain you now feel. Revelation 21:3,4 says He will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death, mourning, outcry, and pain will be no more. May he comfort you as you endure this most challenging time!!

I am so sorry for your loss. The loss of a loved one is so heartbreaking. Dying was not part of Gods original purpose. When a person is told that they have a life threatening illness, they will do all that they can to stay alive. We inherited that desire from our first parents. Ecclesiastes 3:11 If Adam and Eve would have remained obedient, they along with their offspring would have lived forever. Will God’s original purpose ever be fulfilled? Please first read Isaiah 55:11, 37:29. Jesus Christ confirmed this by saying in John 5:28,29, Do not Marvel at this or think it is impossible. The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice (Jesus ) and come out. Yes you can look forward to seeing your loved ones again.
