Please accept my deepest sympathy for I too know the pain of losing someone as special as a mom. May your family find comfort as I have in knowing that our loving heavenly Father promises us that very soon he will ‘swallow up death forever, and certainly wipe the tears from all faces.’ (Isaiah 25:8) What a wonderful day that will be!
Despite the sorrow of her passing when someone lives a life like Ms. Barker did it surely deserves celebrating. She was a mighty woman based on the Bible’s description, “In themselves the days of our years are seventy years; and if because of special mightiness they are eighty years…” Psalm 90:10 As a Christian I am sure she believed Jesus words: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…” John 5:28,29 May the hope of the resurrection bring you comfort in your time of sorrow.
May your loving memories of a life well lived comfort you during this difficult time.
