Hattie Mason,age 84 of Canton,GA passd away Tuesday January 15, 2013 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services will be held Saturday from the Toonigh Church of God at 2:00 P.M. Rev. J.B. Kitts and Rev. Jack Bailey officating. Interment will be in the Indian Knoll Baptist Church Cemetery . Family will recieve friends Thursday and Friday 2PM – 8PM . Survivors include, Sister Mattie Strickland, Canton, GA and Numerous Nieces and Nephews. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

…Christ has been raised up from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep in death. For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a man. For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive. – 1 Cor. 15:20-22
Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out… – John 5:28,29
It is my prayer that the promise of the resurrection will encourage you to look to the future with the hope that you will see your beloved Hattie again.
My deepest condolonces go to the family. May you take comfort in knowing that soon all death will be done away with. As we look to such a future, may the God of comfort contiue to strengthen the family.-Revelation 21:4, Isaiah 25:8.
I worked with Hattie at Canton Nursing Center and my prayers are with her loved ones. She was a nice lady and may she rest in peace.
I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Hattie. She was a very good nurse with a tough exterior with a caring heart.
