Lonnie Dale Allen, age 57 of White, GA passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, January 27, 2013 from Violet Baptist Church in Murphy, NC at 2PM with Rev. Mark Reid officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery at 350 Violet Church Rd., Murphy, NC. Surviving are Daughters Amanda Shoilekov of White, Lacey Allen of White, and Jessica Allen of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Son Brance Allen of White; Parents Lonnie & Ruth Allen of White, Brothers Duane Allen of Woodstock and Terry Allen of White; Sisters Pam Battersby of Jasper and Jenny Corley of Woodstock; also surviving are 6 Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Lonnie Allen Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Caring staff Of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
