Norma Milford, 75 of Canton, GA passed away Friday January 11, 2013 at Piedmont Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM Sunday January 13, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Horace Richards and Rev. Jim Amos officiating. Interment will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00PM till 8:00PM. Survivors include Husband, Turk Milford, Canton, GA; Daughter & Son-in-law, Michelle & John Thacker, Canton, GA; Brother & Sister-in-law, Mike & Miranda Williams, Canton, GA; grandchildren, Haley Thacker, Meredith Thacker, and Hagen Thacker all of Canton, GA. Mrs. Milford was preceded in death by her son Michael Milford. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, North Canton Baptist Church Building Fund or Canton First United Methodist Church. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

My heart is sad but also rejoicing. Sad because Norma is no longer here on earth and rejoicing because I know she was reunited with Michael today. What a day Heaven is having. My thoughts and prayers are with you Turk, Michelle, and the whole family.

My deepest condolences go to the family. Death is never easy to cope with. But rest assured, God soon promises to completely do away with all sickness, suffering, and death for good. As we look to these promises found in Gods word the bible, may the many loving memories comfort the family in the days ahead.-Revelation 21:4, Isaiah 25:8, Psalms 37:11.
