Pete Cagle, 91 of Canton, GA passed away Monday March 11, 2013 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, GA. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00am Thursday March 14, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Padgett officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday 6:00pm-9:00pm and Wednesday 10:00am-9:00pm at Darby Funeral Home. Survivors include Wife, Ovelene Cagle, Canton, GA; Daughters, Carrie Godfrey, Canton, GA; Nina (Kenneth) Hodges, Lavonia, GA; Jeffery Carnes, Canton, GA; Elsie (Mike) Haley, Canton, GA; Brother, Roy Cagle, Canton, GA; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. The family request that no food be brought to the funeral home. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Death is never an easy thing to cope with, even when a person lived a long life. But, God soon promises to end all suffering, including death, in the near future. No longer will sickness or pain affect mankind anymore. We also look to the hope of being able to see our lost loved ones again, here on earth, under perfect conditions.
