My sincerest sympathy to Mr. Pluris’ family. Even when someone has lived a long life as he did, we still don’t want to let them go. In God’s word the Bible death is spoken of as an enemy to the human family but the wonderful promise that Jesus will fulfill can bring us much comfort. “As the last ennemy, death is to be brought to nothing.” – 1 Cor. 15:26 “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” – Psalm 37:29 May reflecting on God’s love for you and his promises for your future bring you comfort at this most difficult time.
I want to extend my condolences to the family. You can rest assured that God will soon bring about a change. He promises that he will wipe out death and pain forever. He also extends to all the hope of seeing our loved ones again here on earth. As we eagerly await these promises, May the God of comfort continue to strengthen the family.-Revelation 21:4, Acts 24:15. Isaiah 25:8.
I wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss you have suffered. May you gain comfort by reading Jesus’ promise at John 5:28,29. You can access a brochure that has helped millions to cope with this loss by going to http://www.jw.org and looking at Publications, Books and Brochures, and looking for When Someone You Love Dies. I truly hope you gain a measure of comfort from this!
My name is Jim Limp and I was involved with the employment of Phil at Eli Lilly and Company. Even though I knew Phil very well, I did not work with him on a daily basis until the last four or five years of my employment with Lillys. I enjoyed our relationship and found Phil to be a hard worker and a real contributor to the success of the Lilly Company. I have nothing but pleasant memories about our association and I happy that that I can say I knew and respected Phil Pluris. His family has our sympathy.
