Whit Mahan 88, of Alpharetta, GA passed away Friday February 1, 2013 at North Fulton Hospital. Graveside services are scheduled for 12:00PM Tuesday February 5, from the Georgia National Cemetery with Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Georgia National Cemetery. There will be no local visitation. Survivors include Son, Steve Mahan, Alpharetta, GA; Daughter, Shirley Moore, Woodstock, GA; Brothers, Ronald Mahan, Oxford, MS; Ralph Craig Mahan, Water Valley, MS; 1 Grandchild, Katie Moore. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations may be made to the Georgia Mountain Hospice, 70 Caring Way, Jasper, GA 30143. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

We’re feeling your pain but in my heart I know how happy he is because he’s now with his one and only love his precious Annalee. God will help you with your pain and sorrow and we all know one day we’ll all get to see and be with them once again.
